Bearded Stanley's First [Snowy] Adventure.

Well, Bearded Stanley came with me to school yesterday (January 17th). I wanted to show him the big city, since after all, he's lived in the woods his whole life. Suddenly, snow started falling. I assured him that snow in Birmingham means slush and that we have nothing to worry about since it will not stick. As we were eating lunch at the Commons, the snow began to fall heavily.

Not only did the snow begin to fall heavily, but it also began to stick to the ground. Of course, my fellow education majors and I decided to go outside and have a snowball fight. However, Bearded Stanley did not partake in this activity for the sake of his safety and well being. I felt bad for him though so I decided to let him enjoy the snow for a few minutes.
